Top pan melts caramel, chocolate, custard, and sauces slowly and evenly to avoid scorching. Vented glass lid allows steam to escape, which helps keep glass lid clear for viewing. Holds 1.5QT/1.4L Set includes a steamer, boiler and vented tempered glass lid. Stainless steel construction TRI-PLY ENCAPSULATED base that incorporates 2 layers of stainless steel with an aluminum core layer. The top pan has a stay cool helper handle that gives you a better grip when removing the pan. Hand washing recommended. Compatible with induction, electric and gas cooktops.
